Ashley is a Manager at Sigma Executive and a specialist recruiter of senior lawyers and partners across Australia.

With over 11 years’ legal industry experience and more than 7 years’ recruitment experience, he brings a wealth of skills and knowledge to the Sigma team.

Before kicking off his career in recruitment, Ashley worked as a commercial litigation and family lawyer at market leading specialist firms. Transitioning seamlessly into recruitment, he trained and worked at a large international recruitment agency, quickly establishing himself as a dependable and respected legal recruitment partner within the industry.

Since 2017, Ashley has been a dedicated member of the Sigma team, focused on recruiting senior lawyers and partners and specialising in insurance law and related areas. He also accepts referrals to lawyers in other areas, showcasing his commitment to offering a comprehensive recruitment service to fulfill diverse needs.

Having worked as a lawyer, undertaken his own major career change, and now spent significant time consulting with lawyers on their own career progression, Ashley has deep and unique insights into legal careers and the factors that differentiate high performing lawyers. He prides himself on providing lawyers with tailored and expert career guidance over the course of their careers, and helping exceptional legal teams grow and continue to thrive.

Outside of work, Ashley spends time with his wife, Amy, young daughter, Sage, and 9-year-old maltese poodle, Mr. Darcy. An avid reader and runner, he is currently training for his first marathon.
