With years of experience in recruitment, she began her career in professional services before discovering her passion for legal search. Since joining Sigma, Michelle has focused on developing a niche in insurance law. She works closely with both candidates and clients at the associate through to senior associate level, helping to build strong, sustainable teams in insurance litigation.

Michelle collaborates with national and specialist firms, placing lawyers into roles that align with their longer-term career goals. She is known for her people-first approach, taking the time to understand what motivates her candidates and clients and building trusted relationships that go beyond transactional recruitment. Her approach is thoughtful, strategic, and grounded in a strong knowledge of the insurance law market.

Whether she’s guiding a candidate through their next career move or grabbing a coffee to simply provide insights into the legal landscape, Michelle brings warmth and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.

Outside of recruitment, Michelle is an avid traveller who has explored over 40 countries. When she’s not jet-setting off on her next adventure, she can often be found with a book in one hand and a power tool in the other. A passionate reader and self-proclaimed carpenter, Michelle enjoys spending her weekends immersed in DIY projects.
